Marissa & Zack are goings crazy! Both of Marissa girlfriends are in Utah for winter break and Zack Best friend as well… The both begged me to take them to Utah- Not understanding the weather, the cost… Just knowing we have plenty of free time….

 

Zack opened his Mario Party 8 game on Christmas- 1st thing he said…

Zack- mom, we have to write a letter and tell Jack I got this, he will be so surprised…

Everyday since Christmas he has asked when Jack would be home so they could play it…

 

 

Aubrey has been better too…. The Dr said I was not allowed to nurse her anymore. I know it was time to end… But I just couldn’t listen to her cry and I always gave in. The past week has been so hard for her, and if it wasn’t for Anthony and all his help I think we would still be nursing, and I would still be weak and sick… Anthony pats her to bed in her crib EVERYNIGHT. He gets up with her when she cries twice in the middle of the Night and pats her… She has been sleeping in her crib which is great for us. We only have a queen size bed and it was getting a little crowed. She won’t take a nap unless I put her in the car and drive until she falls asleep… I try to hold her and she throws herself back in a tantrum trying to win her own way… So we still need to work on the naps. But other then that she seems to be waking up less at night, and not so cranky.

 

Devun has been coloring some really good pictures lately… Anthony told him to draw at least one picture a day to work on his skill, so he has been… My grandfather was a great artist, and Anthony’s mom Kim does really well too…

 

And then there is our little Ava-

Ava remembers EVERYTHING. So last night I told her what we needed at the store, and sent her out with Daddy….

Daddy remember 2 things of the list, and luckily Ava was there to help him out… She did confuse surbert for sugar, but Anthony quickly understood what she was saying… Then Anthony and Ava had a small arguing match, because eggs was a thing I told her we needed, but apparently the store was sold out. Buy one get one free… So now we know to send Ava to the store with Daddy…. She is the big helper!

 

Anthony did get a small side job project that he will start Friday… I am happy for this.. We need to be able to pay our bills, but having him home so much really made me miss him. And I want him to start taking every other Saturday off, or even work all week and have every Saturday off… (he said that wouldn’t work) but I am hoping it will.

 

I think I may be coming to an end on my first trimester… Although the Dr said I have 2-3 more weeks… Last night for the first night in 8 weeks I did not get sick, and the first time this morning I woke up feeling decent.

The baby will come when she comes, I am just happy to be feeling better! (Yes I said she, I don’t get sick with the boys…. The girls basically put me in the hospital from day 1- so if it’s a boy, I will be SO surprised)

I have been dead to you all and I am sorry!

 

I have been so sick, (pregnant) from day one! And it has been really hard for me to concentrate on writing. However at my Drs apt… I was giving a prescription medication to help with the nausea, and honestly it has help 85%… I know longer am sick when I wake up and ALL DAY LONG, now I have until about 4-5pm before I get my morning sickness, but lucky for me, I don’t do much at that time anyways…

 

Christmas was a success, other then a head cold that I had, I was able to cook for my family- my uncle and his partner, my cousin and his daughter & Anthony’s parents.

 

The kids had a great Christmas, Anthony was off work Wed, Thur, Friday and Saturday… So we spent much of the time at Mt View playing Soft Ball, and catch. We really miss out on the fun stuff with Anthony working so much…

 

(work is really slow right now, I am trying not to panic but just enjoy him home, Helping me & playing with the kids…J)

 

The kids got everything they had asked for, and there were no sad faces when we were all done opening gifts.

 

This year was the year of sports for our family… Anthony got me and himself a tennis racket, and balls. Santa got the boys a Basket ball Hoop and Ball, Devun asked for a soccer net and ball and got it, and then Anthony’s mom got him everything he could need for baseball, so Santa got all the kids & mom a baseball glove … (that would explain baseball at the park Friday & Saturday)

 

Instead of taking pictures of the kids opening gifts I recorded it, so there are NO pictures to post… (sorry)

We have been so greatly blessed these past few weeks,

Thank you all! Who every you may be?

 

The kids love the daily knocks on the door that have filled our door step with treats! They love waiting for who ever it is doing the 12 days of Christmas for us. Devun especially cannot wait to find out what will come next!

 

We have been greatly blessed with love & kindness this Christmas season, I just wish that I was well enough to return the favor this year to all our friends and loved ones!

 

Next year the Dust’s will do better with treats!

But until then, We do wish thee a Merry Christmas and a Happy New YEAR~

Don’t think I am a bad wife for writing this, Anthony already gave me permission.

 

Yesterday we went to Anthony’s grandma’s house for an early Christmas. Her husband died a few months ago, and she is very sad and lonely…

 

The kids had lots of fun being there, it snowed about 15 minutes after we got there, and continued all day long, like I said the Kids had a blast.

 I remembered why we moved out of Utah… (I hate the snow).

 

Anyways we hurried home, the Kids had a thing a church they sang in, and it started at 6. So we spent about 5 hours in the car yesterday…

Sitting did Anthony no good. When we got home he noticed that his hemorrhoid was bleeding, and he couldn’t get it to stop.

 

We took the kids to the church, and let them sing, and then we went straight to the Urgent Care…

 

They made fun of him for awhile until they noticed how bad it was bleeding… They would have sent him upstairs for surgery but there was no surgeon’s on call.

 

 So the Dr did the only procedure that he could legally do… then decided to show Anthony what he had done (big mistake)… On the way home Anthony went into detail of all that happened,

Anthony-Jen- I am going to pass out

Me- don’t pass out (I started talking about the trip at his grandmas) then when he didn’t responded looked down at him… He had past out!

Jen- Anthony, Anthony – wake up!!1

Anthony- what? What? What is going on!

I told him never to do that again, that had scared me so badly (Janelle Sorry that Anthony passed out on your door step, I would have called 911 too)….

 

So we came home, he laid on the bed trying to sleep, No sleep for either one of us…

He filled 4 pads, so we took him back today.

 

The Dr Today looked at it, and then sent him upstairs!

The sergeant then looked at it internally and decided it was healing slowly, and surgery wouldn’t be necessary right now, but if the bleeding doesn’t stop in the next 4 days to come back…

 

This was a blessing for us, if Anthony would have had it cut out, he would have been on the bed for 5-6 weeks, NO pay! A friend gave him a blessing this morning, I know that it worked!

So when the Wii first came out, my grandma wanted to buy it for our family as a Christmas gift. I asked Anthony if he would want it, and of course he said NO.. (Anthony doesn’t like new things… etc Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Dance Dance). But once he plays them he has a change of heart.

 

Zack’s best friend has a Wii, and that’s all he talked about… The only thing he wanted for Christmas.

 

We’ll he got it for his birthday, and who is playing it Non-stop??? Yes that’s right Anthony!

 

He stays up late every night playing this game, he thought was stupid. Poor Zack doesn’t get to play it nearly has often has he thought.

I feel like I have dropped from the planted blog world….

 

What have we been up to???

 

Most of you know that we really would like to buy a house, and with the market the way it is, you would think we could buy one! WRONG….

 

I walked through a house last Thursday that I really liked, it was 360. But I am sure we could have gotten it for 350… So I called countrywide, to get pre approved for a FHA loan and again declined! This time it had nothing to do with our credit… Most of you know that I had paid off all our credit cards, and lots of our medical bills, so Anthony’s credit score jumped really high… (Not high enough for the way the market is I guess)… But again with FHA loans, they look at your credit history for the past 2 years, and ours has been perfect! This time it’s our debt to income ratio….  You have to have it at 40 percent, and ours comes out to 50%… We did the math, and if Anthony made $1.50 more an hour we could buy this house… Now of course he makes that much in side work, that’s like a 3 hour job a month, but because he hasn’t had his contractor license for 3 years on our taxes they won’t count it… :(

 

I guess we are still on the 6 month plan… And I just need to relax and know that we will be moving… NO matter what, in 6-7 months we will need a 4 bedroom house, and move out of this one and we just need to pray that it will be our own house…

 

Anthony gets raises in June normally, last year due to work he didn’t get it until August. So we are just hoping that he will get it in June, and we can move to a new house July or August…  But of course everyone one moves during the summer, so we just hope we will be able to find one big enough for our family, and move in before the school year starts…

 

Too much info; maybe But I needed to write it down, so I don’t go CRAZY!

I was in the kitchen, preparing my crock pot dinner, Taco soup (thanks Grammy)…

And I saw a police office park across the street and get out of her car… This is a normal , so I didn’t think anything of it… Then she started walking to my house.

1st thought, she is going to give us a ticket on Anthony’s dads truck. (It’s been sitting in the same place for awhile).

 

I opened the door to greet her,

Officer- is there a problem

 

ME- looking dazed and confused No…. (Thinking in my head, did someone call the cops on me???)

 

Officer- someone called 911 from your house…

 

Me- what??? Then Zack little face flashed to my mind…

ZACK- did you call 911????

 

Zack – No mom I didn’t…

 

Mom- Zack don’t lie to me, I know I didn’t call, and Aubrey is in her high chair…

 

Office – Zack let’s talk about when we do call 911…. And gave him a few examples…

 

She was nice and said don’t worry it happens all the time…

Then she went to her car for a while…

 

I have never been so mortified in my whole life! I am just so happy that I was forced to clean my house yesterday…  

 

This was most likely a warning to me, DON’T LET YOUR HOUSE GET DIRTY! YOU NEVER KNOW WHO WILL BE STOPPING BYE….

Twilight

Last week a group of my friends and I went to the movies to see “Twilight” it is a book written by Stephanie Meyers that was made into a film… Honestly I had never read the book, my Aunt, Sister and even my Grandmother had read it and tried to convince me to read it… Vampires I thought with no interest at all, no thanks I replied… I even read a few pages of my sister’s book a few Christmas past to see if I could read it…I still didn’t have any interest!

 

The only reason I went to see Twilight with the girls is because if I didn’t Anthony was going to go play basketball at the gym until midnight, and I didn’t want that either… It had been a very long week for me, Anthony had been hard at work, and I either needed to get out of the house or spend time just him and I…. He said quote on quote, “go see the movie with your friends, or I am going to basketball!”

 

I left the house, got to the theater… Bought myself a soda, it was 8:30, and normally I go to bed at 9- so I wanted to be able to stay awake. Then I sat down by a few friends and watched the show….

 

Now I will be honest, the people who have seen twilight and had read the book didn’t really care for the movie all that much, there imagination was better then what the characters betrayed… I had not read the book, along with a few other women there and we LOVE the movie, in fact one went and took her husband the very next day…

 

I honestly can say, I can’t get it out of my head. For all those who know me, I am not patient at all, and I want to know what the verdict is as soon as possible… My friend had all the books, and I took the sequel yesterday afternoon… I came home and started the New Moon(couldn’t not put it down)… I finished it this afternoon, and now I have started book number 3… Know just for a visually this book isn’t some 200 page read. It is 560 and 640… But once I start a book I am not able to put it down until I finished it…

 

I get that from my grandmother. She finished books day after day… its like I get lost in these characters, and I want to know how they are doing…

 

So if you don’t hear from me tomorrow it’s because I am lost in reading…

 

What does Anthony say about this reading thing…? HE told me to day how much he loved me, and he knows he doesn’t say it very often, but he knows he needs to… He is being very romantic I have asked him to go see the movie with me, but he isn’t interested
