Our story,
He came into McDonalds with a mutual friend of ours, he tried to flirt while eating his French fries, I thought he was sooooo cute, but tried not to act that why because I was at work, and a boy loves a girl who tries to play hard to get!
A few days later, I see him in sitting on the ground tickling another girl, who seems to be enjoying it! I gave him the dirtiest look of my life, I think he could tell I was upset, once he saw me he sat up straight like he was doing nothing wrong!
A few weeks had past or maybe months, and I had quickly moved on to another boy; he was a member of the church, and all star basketball player , he liked me, & We talked on the phone a lot, but never really made it work.
Then Anthony was transferred into our P.E Class, and again the flirting began, But I new how it had ended last time so I kept my distance.
We’ll the boys wouldn’t let me play basketball with them; I remember yelling at them, and Then Anthony asked me if I wanted to play with him? I said sure, it wouldn’t hurt, plus I could make the other guy jealous.(it was high school)
We’ll I totally beat him; to this day he says he let me win, but those of you who have seen Anthony play basketball, probably know that it was me who won fair and square.
Anyways back to my story, so after class I remember him running up to me and having a little black address book with my name it, waiting for my number. He asked me for it, and of course I asked him about the other girl. He said they broke up, and he wanted to take me out on a date. I ended up giving him my number, and got a phone call that night.
I remember the first night he took me out, my grandfather was not happy, he said Jennifer you marry the people you date, I said GRANDPA, I am only 16, and I am NOT going to marry Anthony…
I wish my grandpa was still alive to tell me” I told you so”, but I know that if he was, he would be very happy to know Anthony and I are together, and that we love one another as well as our 5 beautiful children!
Anthony and I have been together since school year 1995/96.
Here is a senior dance photo that you can all laugh at!
